Remastered By Japan
The world’s finest malted barley is just one of the ingredients that give our beer its unique taste. Crisp, dry and never lingering on the palate, we call this taste Karakuchi.
The word ‘Kaizen’ means the restless pursuit of continuous improvement. In Japan, it’s a philosophy. At Asahi Super Dry it’s the only way we brew beer.
We continually remaster our brewing process to create something uniquely Japanese.
In 1987, Asahi Breweries released Asahi Super Dry, a premium beer with a quick, clean finish. The first of its kind, it didn’t take long to become Japan’s number 1 beer.
Our hops, yeast, rice and barley are selected from suppliers in Japan and beyond in the restless pursuit of continuous improvement.
This unique combination of the finest ingredients brewed with the Kaizen philosophy produces the crisp, dry taste we call Karakuchi.
